HS 1st Year Registration
Registering for Class XI, online
Higher Secondary first-year registration runs on the school's own admission portal, powered by Academica ERP. There is no form to download — the whole registration is completed online, and the admission is confirmed at the office afterwards.
Register on the school's own admission portal
St. John's runs a dedicated admission portal for Higher Secondary first-year entry. Open it, fill the registration form for the candidate, and keep the acknowledgement slip it issues. That is the whole of the registration — the office does the rest when you come in to confirm the admission.
Powered by Academica ERP

How it works
Four steps, start to seat
The first three happen on the portal. The fourth happens at the school office.
Open the portal
The admission portal opens on a phone, a tablet or a computer. Nothing needs to be installed, and there is no form to download or print.
Fill the registration form
Enter the candidate's details, the HSLC result, and the stream and subject group being applied for. Keep the documents listed below at hand while filling it in.
Save the acknowledgement
On submission the portal issues an acknowledgement slip. Save it — it is the reference for every enquiry that follows about the application.
Complete it at the office
Registration is provisional. The admission is confirmed at the school office, where the originals are verified with the student and the parents present.
Why online
One place, and the school reads it directly
The portal is not a form that lands in an inbox. It is the front door of the system the school already runs on.
Open at any hour
The form can be filled in the evening, on a holiday, or from outside Barama — the office queue is no longer the only way in.
Straight into the school record
What is entered goes into Academica ERP, the school's own system of record, rather than being copied by hand from a paper form.
A reference you can hold
The acknowledgement slip issued on submission is proof that the registration reached the school, and the number the office works from.

Eligibility
What Class XI admission asks for
Four conditions, applied to every applicant from every board.
45% in HSLC
A score of 45% or above in the HSLC examination is necessary for admission to Class XI.
Merit, on the grade sheet
Admission is determined exclusively on Class X and Class XI performance, from any board in the nation or abroad, entirely on merit — so the grade sheet must be submitted.
Student and parents present
At the time of admission, both the student and the parents must be present.
Transfers, if seats allow
A student who is transferring may only be admitted if there are seats available.
Checklist
Keep these at hand, then bring them in
Have the details ready while you fill the online form; carry the originals for verification when the admission is confirmed.
- Migration Certificate — for students from a board other than SEBA.
- The original Transfer Certificate issued by the principal of the last school attended.
- Self-attested photocopies of the mark sheet, pass certificate, admit card and registration card.
- A copy of the Aadhaar card.
- A joint passport-size photograph of the parents, and two passport-size photographs of the candidate.
- A photocopy of the birth certificate.

Which stream, and which group?
Science, Commerce and Arts each offer two subject groups. The portal asks for the stream and group, so decide before you begin. English and the MIL are compulsory; four electives are chosen from the group. Take only those subjects in Class XI that you intend to continue in Class XII.
An admission mentor will walk you through it
If anything on the portal is unclear — the stream to pick, a field that will not accept an entry, or the acknowledgement slip — call the admission line, or write to the office and it will be sorted out.
Ready to register for Class XI?
Registration is provisional until the admission is confirmed at the office. The portal will tell you what is open, and the office will confirm seat availability in each stream.
