Dear parents, students and well-wishers,

Welcome to St. John's. Since 1985, this school has held one belief above all others: that every child who walks through our gates carries a light of their own. Our work — in the classroom, at the morning assembly, on the playing field — is simply to help that light shine.

We take academics seriously. Our students sit the HSLC and HS examinations with preparation that begins years earlier, in habits of daily study, regular assessment and honest effort. But marks alone have never been our measure of a Johnian. We are equally proud of the student who leads the assembly with confidence, keeps a promise to a teammate, or stays behind to help a younger child with a difficult sum.

To parents, I say: this school is a partnership. What we build in six hours a day, you sustain in the remaining eighteen. Come to the open days, read the diary, ask us hard questions — the door of my office is open on every working day.

To students, present and future: St. John's will ask much of you — punctuality, courtesy, work done fully and on time. In return it will give you something that lasts far beyond your years here: the quiet confidence of knowing what you are capable of.

We look forward to welcoming your family into ours.

With warm regards,

Rev. Fr. David Soundraraj

The next step is simple — read about the school, or begin an admission enquiry.
