Facilities
Everything a school day needs, on one campus
Classrooms that show as well as tell, four laboratories, an air-conditioned computer lab, a stocked library, an auditorium, a games hall and buses that reach seven towns — the ordinary machinery of a good school, kept in good order.
The Campus
Built around the way children actually learn
Nothing here is ornamental. Every room on this page exists because a lesson, a practical or a rehearsal needed it.
A pupil at St. John's moves through a normal week between a smart classroom, a laboratory bench, the library and the games hall. The buildings are kept simple and the equipment is kept working — that combination has served Barama since 1985.
Facilities are shared across the primary, secondary and higher secondary sections, with the laboratories and computer labs timetabled so that every class gets its turn.

Auditorium & Games Hall
Where the school gathers
A well-equipped auditorium for seminars and functions, and a hall kept ready for indoor games — the two rooms where the whole school meets.
Prize day, the annual function, inter-house competitions, seminars and guest lectures are all held in the auditorium. The games hall carries indoor sport through the monsoon months, when the outdoor grounds are unusable.

School Transport
Four buses, seven towns
Children travel to St. John's from across Baksa and Nalbari districts. Four comfortable school buses make that journey a safe and settled part of the day.
